    Co-founder, co-owner, acting President and CEO of TRACLabs Inc., a small company that conducts research and development in robotics and artificial intelligence for a variety of government agencies. TRACLabs Inc. provides on-site researchers for NASA Johnson Space Center projects including Chariot, Robonaut, Exploration Life Support, Automation for Operations and Habitat Autonomy Testbed. I received my B.S. in computer science from the University of Minnesota in 1988, with a year spent studying at the Universite d'Aix-Marseille in Marseille France. I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in computer science and engineering from the The University of Michigan Artificial Intelligence Laboratory in 1990 and 1993 respectively. My doctoral thesis described a method for integrating stereo vision and sonar sensing data on-board a mobile robot.
